Neal A. Kennedy

Attorney At Law

Neal A. Kennedy is an attorney with more than 30 years of experience in business, dispute resolution, estate planning, probate, and real estate.

Neal earned his B.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Texas in 1984, and his J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1987.

From 1987 until 1998, Neal practiced financial and business law with national law firms based in Houston, New York, Atlanta, and Dallas, where he represented a wide range of individual and corporate clients in the real estate, financial, high-tech, oil and gas, publishing, and retail industries.

In 1998, Neal formed Kennedy Law Office to serve the legal needs of families and businesses in Marble Falls and throughout Central Texas.

Neal is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

The formation of Texas business and nonprofit corporations, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, general partnerships and limited partnerships. The preparation of contracts, bylaws, board of directors' and shareholders' resolutions, shareholders' agreements, partnership and joint venture agreements, employment contracts, distribution agreements and other business agreements.

Dispute Resolution

Dispute resolution in state and federal courts. Includes litigation and mediation related to business disputes, real property, copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, patents, intellectual property, non-competition agreements, employment, antitrust, lender liability, securities, insurance defense, and collections.

Also experienced in alternate dispute resolution, including mediation and AAA, NASD and NYSE arbitration.

Estate Planning

Estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, financial and health care powers of attorney, and the representation of estates, heirs and claimants in guardianship and probate proceedings.

Real Estate Law

Real estate transactions, including the preparation of earnest money contracts, deeds, deeds of trust, loan agreements, promissory notes, financing statements, leases, contracts for deed, property management agreements, and foreclosure documents and related instruments.​​
